Description

Sorting by category is such an important skill to learn. This activity set provides the opportunity to expand a child's vocabulary and strengthen their fine motor skills at the same time!

This category sorting activity includes 2 sets: one with 3 objects per category for students who are just learning how to sort by category and one with 6 objects per category for children who have experience with sorting objects.

Each page has 2 categories to sort objects into. The pages included are:

- Animals and not animals

- Farm animals and ocean animals

- Foods and drinks

- Fruits and vegetables

- Pets and wild animals

I color coded the cut lines for the object pieces and labeled each set so that it's easy to see which pieces go together when you're prepping the activity!
