Description
This package includes a pdf file handout, AND an interactive GEOGEBRA graphing file that goes with the handout. You, a substitute, or the students themselves adjust different values in the interactive graphing program to learn about basic geometry terms, such as point, line, ray, segment, angle measurement, vertex, correct naming of angles, circle, radius and diameter.
All that is necessary is for you to download the free-use geogebra program onto your computer (www.geogebra.org/download GeoGebra Classic 5 version is what I use)
This is a great, efficient activity to use instead of copying notes from a powerpoint or the board.
You can even leave this self-explanatory assignment with a substitute, and know the students will have completed something useful while you are out!
Inline with High School Common Core Geometry benchmarks.

I liked this resource because the substitute was able to follow instructions quite easily.
There is never enough material to use for absences. Thank you for sharing this. It was an assignment that the students could be successful on, even in my absence.
