This handout functions as a practice sheet designed to help learners of Korean, it's writing system Hangul, to practice reading the individual syllables.

To get the most out of this resource, you will need to construct the syllable by writing the consonant on the horizontal axis with the vowel on the top vertical axis. As you write them, or after completing the chart, go through each one and read it out loud orally, then repeat.

The more these basic sounds are mastered, the easier it will be when you begin to learn words, phrases, and more complex word constructions.
