Description

In this project, students will use basic math skills to build a theme park! This 14-page packet involves real-world application and is great as an independent activity for stations or sub plans.

This project involves:

  • Basic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
  • Word problems
  • Area and perimeter
  • Plotting coordinates
  • Price comparison
  • Ratios
  • Reading and creating graphs
  • Percentages

Answer sheet is included for quick and easy grading! This is an age-appropriate resource for any student who needs some practice with the basics. This project is great for a high school remediation class!

This will download as a PDF. Use a PDF editor or have students record answers on a separate sheet of paper to make this project work for virtual learning.

Age-appropriate instruction for secondary students is always my goal! Check out my other secondary resources in my store!

My students enjoyed using this resource as an end of year "fun" project! They thought it was cool to create their own park and make all the financial decisions. Great for end of year PBL.
