Description

This is a series of pictorial educational materials to use for basic math skills, whether in your classroom or in one to one sessions. This book focuses on quantity counting, quantity estimations and comparison. Mental math practice resource with visual prompts to establish basic facts fluency.

Through 120 pages it visually presents object quantities in the following ways:

  • equal amounts in a row presentation for clearer counting (using finger pointing or just the eyes) and "draw a line to connect" activities.
  • inequal amounts in a row presentation for clearer counting (using finger pointing or just the eyes) and "draw a line to connect" activities.
  • equal amounts in a mixed presentation for a more demanding concentration and visual discrimination performance.
  • inequal amounts in a mixed presentation for a more demanding concentration and visual discrimination performance.
  • mats for number symbols recording.
  • mats for "more / less / equal" symbol recording.
  • pages with the objects appearing 20 times for cut, count and paste action.
  • all the above in color and also blackline illustrations versions.

The material is presented either in A4 size, as work mats / screen view slides or as 4-on-a-page flash cards to use as task cards as well.

It is a great resource for your math stations and math centers and once you print and laminate, you can store forever.
