This zip file contains a lesson on Estimating; the file contains all the materials necessary to teach the lesson, including a 24 slide Smartboard Promethean lesson and a 3 page worksheet for the students that coincide with the Promethean lesson.

The math involved is basic and was geared toward a special education class. However this lesson would be still useful to elementary or middle school level general education classes. .

Along with the lesson material, this lesson includes a slide containing a pre-class question geared toward the lesson to check for prior knowledge, a homework question and a Promethean based clicker quiz at the end to assess knowledge.
