Description

This is a great special education lesson plan for teaching or reviewing basic math skills.

This unit of lesson plans cover a wide variety of skills & concepts: number lines, greater and less than, skip counting, using a calculator, how to solve word problems, and money skills (recognizing, knowing the value of, coins, bills, rounding to the next dollar, and determining the bill to pay).


This lesson was written for special needs students with visual impairments but can be very easily adapted for a wide range of students and their needs.

This lesson includes teaching activities, extension activities, and assessments.

These offer great lesson plans but they were a little too low for my students. I teach special education but this is a great resource for lower classes.
