Writing sentences can be a tricky skill, but I've got you covered with this 5 lesson resource that will help you teach your students the basics of sentence writing! Your students will explore the aspects of simple sentences that can often cause hang ups for new readers and writers in a gradual release, step by step, manner that will ensure they can successfully write a sentence that includes capitalization, punctuation, and proper spacing.

Learning how to write sentences is a foundational writing skill. These activities are meant to help support your learners and allow them to slowly become more independent when writing sentences. In turn, this will help them to begin to be able to write simple stories.
There is also a version at the end of the document with "full stop" instead of "period".
