This is a kit I created to help my students with special needs learn how to write basic sentences. It is also perfect for preschool and Kindergarten students as well as RTI for older students and ELL students who need instruction on how to write a basic sentence. This is step one in my process!
The basic sentence frame in this kit is as follows...
A/The (noun) (verbs) .
At this stage, I refer to people nouns as Somebody and verbs as Doing Something.
The kit includes...
A poster that shows that a sentence is somebody doing something.
A poster with an editing strategy
Sentence writing boards
Noun or somebody cards (yellow)
Verb or doing something cards (green)
Practice page
Basic sentence writing book
All of the writing on the cards is on lines to assist the students with proper letter formation.
