Description
Similar to the General Wave Properties lab, but with more detailed instructions and advice. This lab helps students explore the relationship between wavelength and frequency, and the relationship between amplitude and energy of a simple wave. This lab requires the students use a rope or some other device to create waves, a timing device (or video capture technology) and a meterstick/ruler. I HIGHLY recommend they create the waves horizontally on the floor, with both ends held/secured. This works best with groups of 3-4
