Going Batty!
Original Poetry, Finger Puppets, Ordinal Number Centers

This pack is designed to get kids thinking about ordinal numbers and bats. The poem is written in the same style as the “5 Little Pumpkins” poem. I use both poems during the month of October. Students are familiar with the format and phrasing and are able to focus on the content.

This Pack Includes:
“5 Little Bats” Original Poem: Full Page and 1/4 Page (pg. 6-9)
Large Ordinal Number Cards (pg. 10)
Large Picture Cards (pg. 11-14)
Cut & Order Poem and Pictures + Homework Sheet (pg. 15-17)
Bat Finger Puppets (19-22)
Colorful Bats for Ordering in a Large Group (pg. 23-24)
Listen & Color Sheets (pg. 25-26)
Read & Order Sheets (pg. 27-28)
Batty Line Up: Ordinal Numbers Center (pg. 29-38)
Colorful Small Bat Cards & Ordinal Numbers (pg. 29-30)
Ordinal Number Task Cards (pg. 32-36)
Batty Line Up Recording Sheets (pg. 37-38)
