Your students will choose a moon and bats to create the prefect word problem- word problem templates included for addition and subtraction problems. This bundle has bats with cute hats and bats without hats. Templates are in color or black and white. One template uses the words 'witch hats' and the other 'Halloween hats.'
The preview shows how this craft is used when adding/ subtracting to 10. However, this resource could be used for other standards like adding/subtracting to 20, decomposing a number leading to a ten, subtraction as an unknown-addend problem, commutative property, or the associative property to name a few other ideas.
