These beach themed activities can be used in classroom lessons, outdoor lessons or even fun homework assignments.
This lesson bundle includes printables on:

With my own students I would spend the first class on beach geography. You can give half your students pictures, and the other half words. Leave it to them to match up in pairs. Then they go around to the other pairs to see their pictures and draw them into their own worksheets while making sure they agree with everyone's definitions.
"Beach alliteration" and "descriptive writing" are perfect for spending a class creating a beach story and practice/improve writing.
Sand art jars can be created in class as a fun activity or at home as a fun assignment.
Another class can be spent making a beach and shoreline model and exploring the consequences of erosion. This is the perfect mix of science and fun!
Lastly tidal charts can be researched online and are the perfect intro to school trip to the beach where you can practice maths outdoors and fill out the beach survey!
Lesson vocabulary includes: current, corrosion, erosion, groyne, and undercutting
