Description
This activity is a fun way to introduce both coding with the Bee-Bot and Code & Go Mouse Robots, and reinforce learning about our community! It is easily adaptable and differentiated so Kindergarten through the upper elementary grades can learn coding and simple algorithms by selecting a workplace picture and finding it on their mat! Younger students will learn to code the robot to go forward, backward, turn right and left, while older students can use their skills to explore new ways to code their robots more efficiently. With the addition of Community Helper Picture Task Cards and Community Helper Job Title Task Cards, the challenge because even harder. These activities will spark your students' critical thinking skills, regardless of age!
Community Helpers Go to Work Coding Activities are ideal for:
- Individual Classrooms
- STEM Labs

- 18 Unique Workplace Picture Tiles (includes one Start Tile) which gives you dozens of combinations of different-sized mats!
