Description
This bundle includes 5 beginning-year activities!
Two are usually free but it helps round out the bundle.
Each of these activities can be used in elementary and special education classrooms as they are leveled and work on skills students need to succeed. Such as independently working, making choices, and participating in activities. These will allow a fun and smooth transition into the school year while also allowing you some downtime (as they hopefully work independently) to get some stuff done.
- Would you rather the decision-making worksheet be done independently and then used as a whole group body movement activity.
- Back-to-school reading passages allow you as the teacher to quickly get in an academic activity that will take the students a few minutes. It is leveled so you can start to see where your students stand on reading comprehension skills.
- Color by letter can be a great beginning of day end of day activity as everyone is moving around chaotically you can have some order to the room; while also practicing letter recognition in week one!
- All about me worksheet is just a classic however, when teaching special education none of the ones I saw ever really worked for my classroom. So I created my own which is a leveled activity that goes from writers to non-writers, this way of leveling allows the teacher to truly include all the students and start the process of fostering decision-making in the classroom not matter the mental capacity.
