Use this bundle to start your interactive notebooks with your math classes! Pages include: a title page, guidelines, grading rubric, grade log, and math dictionary template!
The title page is to be glued onto the very first page of your students' notebooks. It is intended for them to write their name and class information, in case they misplace their notebooks.
The guidelines page is a list of guidelines for your students to follow in their Math Interactive Notebooks. They sign the bottom and glue it right into the beginning of their notebooks for reference.
Use the rubric to grade your math students' interactive notebooks each marking period. The rubric is based out of 24 points and is divided into 2 main sections: Neatness & Organization and Required Elements. For Neatness & Organization, the main areas of focus are: Handwriting, Doodles, Physical Condition of Notebook, and Section Content. For Required Elements, the main areas of focus are: Beginning Pages, Notes, Miscellaneous, and Math Dictionary. Students can score a 1, 2, or 3 in each category for a total of 24 possible points. Have students glue a copy of the rubric into their notebooks as a reminder of what they will be graded on each marking period.
The grade log is a form for students to glue into their notebooks. They can record the marking period on top and keep track of all of their grades for that marking period in the spreadsheet. On the bottom, they can fill in what percentage each type of grade is worth.
Finally, the math dictionary template can be used to organize your students' vocabulary section in their notebooks. Students will write the word in the center and then fill in the four additional areas: Definition, Additional Facts, Example, and Non-example. Students can glue two in per page as is or they can fold each template in half and fit up to four on a page. You can also print two templates per page to save space and paper!
Purchased separately, these pages would cost $5.75. Save by purchasing the bundle!
