Description

"Emotion Match Game" is a packet of activity cards designed to teach older children and teens to recognize and label various emotions. It includes 60 student learning cards as well as answer key cards. These cards can be used with students on the autism spectrum and others with social and behavioral skill deficits, particularly those who have difficulty regulating their emotions. Included are cards which present vocabulary, emotion eliciting scenarios and pictures of people expressing different feelings. "Emotion Match Game" was designed originally for middle school students but because of the scaffolding incorporated into the various sets of cards it can easily be adapted for use with upper elementary through high school students. The different games described in the packet can be played individually or in groups and are ideal for social skills groups. Included in this packet are:
12 emotion word definition cards
12 word cards
12 scenario cards
12 scenario answer key cards
12 labeled picture cards
12 unlabeled picture cards
