This behavior contract was written using research. The contract is intended for middle and high school students to help them think through the cause and effect of actions within the classroom. This contract can be modified or adjusted. When introducing the contract, it will help to have students role play and ask students why each procedure is important to the success of the classroom environment. This is an effective classroom tool for managing student behavior and teaches responsibility.
