Description

This is behavior incentive chart that is student-led where there is a "leader" assigned each week to be the judge to place green and red X's next to each student's name at the end of a subject/period. The teacher is the ultimate "judge," however, this is a way for all students to recognize each other's behavior (both good and behavior that needs to be improved upon...) This also teaches students to be honest and fair. It holds students accountable for their behavior. There is specific criteria for receiving both a green and a red X's that the students must follow when they are the charge. This chart is kept by the teacher. The students will see their X score at the end of each week on an indiviual basis. This way, the students are not being called out in front of others. They can, however, see their marks and try to improve the next week if they are receiving too many red X's. They can also see when they are getting all green X's and a great score! This is a great system as the students love being a part of the classroom community!
What is included:
**Explanation to pass out to students with the criteria for earning a green "X" or receiving a red"X."
**Listed consequences for receiving 3 or more red x's
**Explanation of the "judging" system
**Printable chart to write student names and write X's for each day of the week (Monday through Friday) Places for 25 student names! Can be copied to make more available spaces for student names
