Description
Do you have students who need extra reminders to follow instructions?
Are you interrupting the rest of your class by repeating instructions multiple times?
Try using behavior cue cards! Simply show your student the picture of the expected behavior and let that serve as the instruction. You may have to spend time teaching what the picture means. Once your student learns how to react using this visual prompt, provide reinforcement! This way, they get more of your attention after they follow the instruction versus getting your attention while you're redirecting them.
I like to laminate them and put them on a key ring or lanyard for easy access!
