Description

Following the school and classroom rules is not always easy for a student. It isn’t very easy for a teacher to communicate these behaviors to the parent in a quick speedy way either. I created these slips that are quick to complete and relay the disruptive behavior to a family member at home. I follow the traffic light behavior system… Green- Excellent behavior, Yellow- Needs improvement, Red- Needs much improvement. I print the notes on yellow and red paper. I also quickly jot down the date and check off the behavior of the student to keep for my records. I keep signed slips in a plastic sheet protector behind the student’s behavior report. Every week I have my green students choose a treasure chest prize. This works for me but you can use whatever incentive works for you. Fast, easy, and specifc! These are great tools I use all the time. Hope they are helpful for you!
