Description
I am a HUGE point sheet advocate after seeing how well students respond to them! They provide motivation to students by giving them something to work for.
How this point sheet is used: Before using the point sheet, determine how many points the student can earn for each activity/lesson (I use 5 points, 1 point for each of our 5 class rules). Also determine how many possible points the student can earn throughout the day (5 points x 6 lessons = 30 possible points). This is how you determine how many points the child must earn by the end of the day to earn a reward.
Under the "activity" column you can write what the child is doing and what time (ex. 9:00-9:30 math with Ms. Meyer). Under the "points" side write how many points the child earned for that activity/lesson.
There is a whole point sheet for students who need the support for the entire school day as well as half sheet point sheets for students who may only need the support during certain times.
