This exercise allows students to create and solve their own large multiplication problems (2 digit bottom number). A rubric is included for assessment and grading. It’s great for a quiz and for kids to show what they know. The rubric allows teachers to assess the students’ knowledge of the mathematical methods and procedures they are required to learn. Good activity for math centers.
