Description
When I introduce binomial distributions with random variables I have each student take the "quiz" where they are truly guessing multiple choice answers. I do this to not only introduce binomial probability but to prove that your chances of passing a quiz by guessing are extremely low. The worksheet has two quizzes on the first page and 4 possible solutions on the second page. The expected value and probability of passing the quiz solutions are on the second page. This is a fun little activity to do at the beginning of class to peak interest in the lesson. Each student grades their own quiz and I usually offer extra credit points to any student who passes the quiz, and no one ever does.
