Description
This multiple choice biochemistry review deck of task cards will prepare students for a biochemistry quiz or test. Your students will be able to identify and classify proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids using a variety of clues. Specific topics for clues include polysaccharides, triglyceride, DNA, liposuction, food, blood glucose, fatty acid, glycogen, cholesterol, steroid, cell membrane, muscles, hormone, enzyme, RNA, phospholipid, monosaccharide, insoluble, amino acid, disaccharide, polypeptide, insulation, saturated fat, unsaturated fat, starch, sugar, serine, valine, argenine, and more!
How can these task cards be used with your classes?
1. Boom Learning digital version (auto-grading)
2. TpT Easel digital version (auto-grading) assigned using Google Classroom
3. show the cards to your entire class using a projector as a practice quiz
4. print out hard copies of each task to laminate, cut out, and use in class

How it Works
- Teacher guided review– Use online Boom Learning site with a projector to question your students as a class.
- Teacher guided quiz – Use online Boom Learning site with a projector to give your class a quiz.
- Student guided quiz – Use online Boom Learning site with one student per computer to complete the deck.
- Classroom circle – Put your desks in a circle. Print task cards out on white cardstock and have students pass cards in a circle. Have students work in pairs. Use a timer to keep students on task. Do NOT let students pass cards without your signal.
- Classroom gallery walk – Print task cards out on white cardstock and post these at eye level on the walls of your classroom or a hallway. Have students work in pairs. Use a timer to keep students on task.
