This project allows students in a class who might be separated by distance to build a sense of class community by decorating a virtual locker. Creating your own teacher locker as an example helps teachers establish report with a class they haven't met in person yet. Step by step instructions are included in the Google Slides presentation, and to increase interaction between students add on a culminating activity in which you have students email each other, introducing themselves and sharing what they liked best about their locker. Students can also present their lockers over a virtual meeting.
