In honor of Black History Month, I am teaching this unit in my special education self-contained classroom!

I've created 2 different levels for different types of learners in your classroom.

The lessons focus on important vocabulary, why we learn about Black History Month, and important people who changed history.

Level 1:

• teaching sheet
• fill-in-the-blank notes
• fill-in-the-blank comprehension questions
• multiple choice 20 question quiz

Level 2:

• teaching sheet
• notes with the ability to highlight/circle key words and information
• multiple choice comprehension questions with visuals
• multiple choice 7 question quiz

I incorporated a page that describes how I taught my lessons in my classroom but use this however it works best in your classroom! :)
