A project for increasing understanding and appreciation for the contributions of Africans Americans to our nation's history. Black History Month project duration from 1 - 2 weeks depending on options chosen. The mini-poster and gallery walk format allow for flexibility and differentiation. Students contract for their grade and the gallery walk makes presentations more interesting and holds all students accountable for more than just their researched person.
