Description

Dear Families and Educators, Let's pretend we are construction workers; use these visuals to help spark creativity. Playing with blocks is a fun and educational experience for young children. Use this tool at play time or in centers to encourage conversation about shapes! Not to mention playing with blocks is an excellent way to help build problem solving skills and spatial awareness! Reminder that most young children learn best when they are at play! For early learning educators this is a great visual to pair with the creative curriculum buildings study or as a tool to keep in your block center year round. I have included images of different shaped wooden bocks and several building configurations for your students to attempt. I also have included some questions that some question examples to help build vocabulary and other conversational skills. I hope you Enjoy!

Includes:

Conversation starters/vocabulary

Block shapes and names

Building guides.
