You may use this resource as print outs or display for a slideshow to show students what each invention looks like. You can display the simple machines around the room while students complete the activity "Know the Simple Machines" in this lesson.
You could print them out smaller and have students match the 2 inventions to each simple machine.
**Note: You will need to shuffle the order if using the images to test the students' knowledge. The order is: 2 inventions + the simple machine used within the invention.
