Description
Bluebonnet Learning K–5 Math – First Grade: Topic C, Lesson 12 – Addition Word Problems
This lesson is part of the Bluebonnet Learning K–5 Math, designed to make math lessons more engaging and easier to present. As a first grade teacher, I created these slides to make the lessons easier to present to students.
Lesson 12 focuses on solving add to with change unknown math stories using 5-group cards. This hands-on strategy helps students build number sense and understand how to find the missing part in an addition story.
The Canva presentation includes over 20 slides with View Only and Editable links, so you can adapt the lesson to fit your students' needs.
I’m uploading lessons as I go, so be sure to check back often! Lessons are available individually or in topic bundles.
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact me at classroomgems@outlook.com. Thank you!
