Description

Students will better their understanding of the human body by researching the following:

  • Skeletal
  • Muscular
  • Circulatory
  • Cardiovascular
  • Respiratory
  • Immune
  • Digestive
  • Nervous
  • Urinary
  • Integumentary
  • Endocrine
  • Lymphatic

Students must complete diagrams and graphic organizers to show they understand the body system covered on the previous slide. This lesson is meant to get the students interested in the content and give them a taste of what they would learn if they decided to take high school anatomy (if your school system offers it).

Allow students a good amount of time to make it through this assignment. Whenever my students completed this, they had no less than two full days in class to work on it. Invest the time to let them research and watch the various videos so they can produce the quality you want.

Two research slides come with a pull tab. When students drag this tab down into the window, they are given a list of diseases to choose from. Teachers can allow students to pick their own diseases at their discretion. This is an excellent assignment to have students complete from home, either due to distance learning or if a student is absent.

Perfect for google classroom. Students can work on chromebooks, tablets, or just about any device that can access google slides to complete this assignment.
