Description

Have a sub coming in for the day? Want to review library terms at the beginning of the year? Need a quick lesson which will cover all grade levels?

Students and staff alike will enjoy this fun bingo library review.

With three different levels to choose from you will have the perfect game to review library terms and keep everyone happy! Use part of the lesson to review what each of the terms means then hand out the cards to the students. Once a student has bingo, they must tell the meaning of each term in order to win!

Each level has 8 different cards with a mix of library terms as well as a score-keeper’s card. This lesson also contains printable markers so you don’t have to worry about finding something for the students to mark their cards. Alternately, laminate your cards and allow the students to use dry erase markers to mark their answers.

Instructions:

1. Print several sets of the question cards on card stock and laminate them for easy reuse.

2. Print several sets of the Book Bingo markers on card stock, laminate and cut them out.

3. Make one set of the score keeper’s cards and the bingo call list, these can also be laminated.

4. Review the terms with the students before the game begins. When a student gets 5 in a row ask them to give the definition of each word before awarding the prize! Printable Book Bingo Champion bookmarks included!

Choose from grade levels K-2, 3-5 or 5-12. Each level has a variety of terms chosen to challenge each level. Cards and terms are color-coded to help avoid confusion.
