I use this at the beginning of the year to talk with my PreK/Special Needs - 3rd grade about how to treat not just the library books, but all books! The poster makes a great discussion starter for my 4th and 5th graders, which I use to do a quick review of taking care of books (esp. if I see them "dog ear" pages or flip them upside down instead of using a bookmark!).

The packet includes bookmarks for students to color and keep, color poster, and a differentiated sort (leveled) on the "good" and "bad" ways to take care of books!
