Each month I try to create activities as students visit the library. This resource provides additional ideas I can use for February. I love finding things that I can customize and utilize without having to create it all on my own. Thank you!

Starting a classroom library was intimidating, but this packet gave me everything I needed to introduce the books to my class. The resources are cute and eye catching, but more importantly, they explain the concept of book speed dating very clearly. Although I did find free instructions for this type of activity online, purchasing this packet saved me so much labor and it helped me visualize how this activity should work in my classroom.

I had to modify this to better meet my needs, but overall a good resource. I unfortunately didn't have enough time to get through the whole thing (due to snow day delays), but I'm hoping next year I can use it in it's full glory!
