This is a book project idea to use with middle school students. After students have finished a book, have them create a book trailer (similar to a movie trailer) on their book. They need to take the key idea from the book to create a trailer that entices people to read their book. Please refer to the examples on YouTube (www.youtube.com/signingupagain) as models for the project. I had students use Microsoft PowerPoint to create their trailers. The document for download has a rubric and rudimentary directions for creation.
