This resource has 30 self-checking digital task cards perfect for reviewing place value concepts for third grade. It includes 6 different question stems that are used to test this standard on the STAAR test. These questions are aligned with Texas state standard: TEK 3.2A.
You can take a look at the question stems on the pictures above and you can play a preview of the deck HERE to determine if they will be a good fit for your students.
These are the skills addressed within this resource:
- Converting numbers between standard form, expanded form and expanded notation.
- Composing and decomposing numbers up to 100,000 as a sum of so many ten thousands, thousands, hundreds, tens and ones.

Boom Cards are digital, self-checking, interactive activities. Students are shown one question at a time and get instant feedback on their answers! This digital resource can't be printed. They play on most modern browsers, Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires.
You can use Boom for free. However, a paid account (see pricing here HERE) is very affordable and you will be able to:
- Get reports about student progress
- Easily assign students multiple decks to work on
- Create an entire classroom of student logins
