This set of 36 digital Task Cards cover identification of 2D shapes. These cards are aligned to the Common Core 2.G.A.1. Shapes included: circle, crescent, diamond, heart, hexagon, heptagon, nonagon, trapezoid, octagon, oval, parallelogram, pentagon, rectangle, rhombus, semicircle, square, star, triangle. There are 18 cards that are Multiple Choice and have 3 options. Correct responses will have a green circle and incorrect responses will have a red circle and a line. Another 18 cards that are Fill-in-the-Blank and students will type their responses. A Shape Word Bank is included for students to refer for correct spelling.

You will receive a link to the task cards on the Boom Learning website when you download this resource. You will be asked to sign into your account or create a free account. All purchased decks can be found in your library. Boom Cards are accessed and used on the Boom Learning website. There is no need to download, save, or print.
What do I need to use Boom Cards?
To use Boom Cards you must be connected to the Internet and have a Boom Learning Account (FREE). Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. Use this resource on a tablet, laptop, computer, Chromebook, or Smartboard.
How do I download or access these materials?
- When you purchase this resource, you'll receive a PDF download. Inside the PDF you will find a link to click that will lead you to the Boom Learning Platform.
- You will then be prompted to sign in or sign up for a free account.
- After signing in, it will add the deck to your Boom Library.
- All Boom Card decks are housed in and accessed from the Boom Learning Platform. No need to download or save!
