• Making Words- This is such a fun remote learning activity. Students can practice manipulating the blue letters to make different words in the short a family. Each letter sound has audio support. There is a section for students to write down each word they found! Assign each student their own copy so you can see how they did!
• Matching Sounds- In this activity, students are given a picture to look at. The narrator says the name of the image. Student need to decide what the first sound in the word is. • -tion Decoding- In this decoding slides activity, students practice decoding multi-syllable words that have the -tion end. Students need to highlight the ending, identify letters as vowels or consonants, and determine where the syllable breaks are.
