Understanding Place Value is a Boom Cards deck that is a fun way for students to practice their knowledge of place value. This deck is aligned to second grade common core standards.

With this deck, students will:

  • Identify numbers shown with base ten blocks
  • Determine how many groups of ten are in certain numbers
  • Compare and contrast numbers using base ten blocks

Boom Cards task cards are digital, no-prep, and self-checking.

Please note: you must have an account on Boom Learning to use these cards.

Important Information: To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards.
