My ELA co-worker asked me to prepare a mini unit for her junior and senior ELA students on Gloria Anzaldúa´s Borderlands: Las Fronteras. These Guided Notes/Skeleton Notes i should be paired with the PowerPoint for Day 3 (also available in my store). If you are interested in the whole six lessons, please consider the Bundle. The Bundle includes 6 PowerPoints for a 6 day mini-unit; an in-class writing prompt; a final project instruction and rubric; and guided notes/skeleton notes to accompany PowerPoints for Days 1-4. PowerPoints 2-5 have a short comprehension check quiz at the beginning. Suggestions for extension activities (in the forms of videos) are at the end of each PowerPoint. Could be used in Spanish, ELA, Social Studies, or LatinX Culture classes.
