My favorite way to implement task cards is to play Scoot. This game gets the students up and moving, which helps to break up the monotony of sitting at the same desk throughout the day. Simply copy the graph onto a transparency or project it onto your smartboard so that it is visible to the students as they move around the classroom completing each task card.

This is also a great resource for homeschool students as well. I like to place the cards all around my home and my daughter will scoot to each one in a similar manner as in a classroom setting. Homeschool learners can carry a printed copy of the graph with them to reference as they complete the task cards.

Of course, that isn't the only way these task cards can be used. They also work well in math centers, as a task for early finishers, and as extra engaging work for your eager learners.

For resources that are not consumable, such as the task cards and the graph, I do recommend printing on cardstock and laminating so that you can use them over and over again.
