Break Cards | Help Cards | Visuals for the Classroom

Have you ever had a student who would act out or avoid work in the classroom? Or a student who always seems to want to leave the classroom to visit the bathroom? Nurse? Get a drink?

Behaviors are a form of communication and there is almost always a reason for them. These visuals are specifically for kids who may need to take breaks during the day to ground themselves and/or require help with classroom work.

These break and help visuals are a simple, easy way to teach kids how to ask for help or a break when they need it. The use of visuals in the classroom can increase student confidence, decrease interruptions, and empower kids to identify when they need to self regulate.
