These cards work well for children with Autism and those with low language and difficulty regulating. The BREAK cards can be used to help children initiate communication with educators by identifying what they need to take a break from the noisy environment. The WAIT visual can help children who have difficulty waiting their turn in a busy classroom environment, and the STOP visuals are for any surface or area off limits to children and can be used as a safety strategy if placed on outside doors for children who pose a flight risk.
