- statistics and probability sets: reading and creating bar graphs, reading and creating pictographs, using first and second-hand data and many-to-one correspondence, and describing probability outcomes using words like impossible, certain, possible, most likely, equally likely and less likely.
- time and measurement sets: reading analog clocks to the minute, 12 and 24-hour clocks and AM/PM time, finding the perimeter of polygons using geoboards.
- geometry sets: types of lines (parallel, perpendicular, intersecting, vertical, horizontal, diagonal), congruency (shapes, lines, sides, angles), lines of symmetry in 2D shapes, names of polygons (triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, octagons), attributes of polygons (number of sides, number of vertices, congruent sides, right angles), quadrilaterals (parallelograms, rectangles, rhombuses, squares, kites, trapezoids)
