Matching is such an important skill for preschoolers. It helps improve concentration, train visual memory, increase short term memory and attention to detail, as well as improve the ability to find similarities and differences in objects. Plus they love it!

Enjoy this fun and easy matching activity.

What to do:

1. Download template
2. Cut out buckets using the same size square or rectangle
3. Laminate all pieces

Tips:

• Can be used as a group game where all cards are face down and each child takes a turn to flip over two cards, trying to get a match
• Can be used as an individual work choice in which the child has to find all the matching pairs
