This Bucket Fillers and Dippers activity is designed to help young learners understand the impact of their words and actions. Through fun and meaningful discussions, students will explore what it means to be a “bucket filler”—someone who lifts others up—and a “bucket dipper”—someone whose actions or words hurt others.

Perfect for:

✅ Whole group lessons

✅ Small group discussions

✅ Independent reflection

What’s Included:

  • Individual sorting activity or scenario cards (students decide: filler or dipper?)
  • 5 colored sorting mats
  • 1 black and white sorting mat (can print on colored paper)
  • Answer sheet
  • Editable PowerPoint version (can edit the scenarios in the table)
