Description

PDF & GOOGLE VERSIONS IN ONE PRODUCT - Dr. Sigma's Life Lessons are short math warmups that involve everyday tasks that students will need to understand as they grow up and become responsible citizens. Life Lessons - Budgets contains 16 warmup sheets for students that involve analyzing budgets. The warmups increase in difficulty. There are four warmups for each of the following levels of difficulty which build upon the difficulty of the previous levels:

- Level 1, calculation of total monthly budget amount and expenditure variance

- Level 2, calculation of yearly budget amount based on monthly budget and variance

- Level 3, calculation of category percentages of monthly budget

- Level 4, calculation of average monthly expenditure and variance from budget

These warmups can be used for students in late elementary, middle school, high school and adult learning programs. They can be used individually as warm-ups throughout the year or as part of a personal finance unit. Lessons can be differentiated by student skill level and taught in a single lesson if desired.

NOTE: THIS ONE PRODUCT CONTAINS BOTH PDF AND INTERACTIVE GOOGLE SLIDE VERSIONS. THE PDF VERSION IS LOCATED IN THE GOOGLE FOLDER.
