The Bug Board is a problem solving tool that students can use to work on solving their problems without immediate adult intervention. It will ask the student to think about the nature of their problem as well as possible solutions. This is a great component to add to any conflict resolution process already being used in a classroom setting.

Students should be instructed on how to navigate the “Bug Board” and should be allowed to practice filling it out. Practice with use of I Messages should also be allowed.
