Description
These hands-on Bugs Path Games help children practice counting, numeral identification, subitizing, and one-to-one correspondence.
>> Please Note: This set is included in the large BUG THEME MATH & LITERACY PACK! If you plan to purchase that pack, you DO NOT need to purchase this set. (The bundle has 20 printable activities & is sold for $8.) <<
This pack has 2 short path games and 2 long path games. These games can be played individually or with small groups. They can also easily be used as cooperative games.
Kids roll the dice and either identify the numeral (numeral die) or identify the dots (subitize). Then count how many spaces to move the playing piece.
Short Path Games: Kids will count and move the playing piece to the end.
Long Path Game #1: Kids will count and move their playing piece. As they land on a leaf, they will collect a leaf card.
Long Path Game #2 (Race): Kids will count and move playing pieces to see which animal wins the race.
Materials Needed: Game dice and playing pieces (dry erase marker caps are perfect)
My materials are designed especially with Pre-K in mind, but will work great in Kindergarten as well.
